Curriculum Vitae
Chris began his journey in 1986 as an editor, honing his skills across a diverse range of projects including documentaries, music videos, commercials, sports, and corporate productions. During this time, he served as the assistant to internationally acclaimed Steadicam operator Mark Koninckx, which sparked his interest in camera operation and the art of Steadicam.
In 1990, Chris founded CrewPower, a company specializing in providing crew, facilities, and corporate production services. For over a decade, CrewPower proudly served Exxon Mobile BeNeLux, solidifying its reputation as a reliable industry partner.
In addition to his role as an editor, Chris dedicated his talents to crafting documentaries for the European Commission and spent six years producing full-time television programs for Dutch TV broadcasters.
With extensive experience as an EFP cameraman, Chris boasts an impressive portfolio including 12 seasons of reality programs, four 52-minute European Commission documentaries, over 20 years of capturing car racing events (WRC, IRC, ERC), and numerous corporate productions.
As a multicam cameraman, Chris has delved into a myriad of broadcast genres over his 30-year career. Notable highlights include coverage of the Olympic Games in Beijing, London, and Rio, Formula One races, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, UEFA Champions League Football, music festivals like Rock Werchter and Tomorrowland, the Athleticism Memorial Van Damme, and more than 10 seasons of car racing broadcasts for Eurosport.
Drawing from his expertise in handheld camerawork, Chris developed a specialized camerabelt tailored to the needs of fellow cameramen, companies, and broadcasters, which he now produces and distributes.
